About Me

Basics

I recently completed my Master’s degree at Stanford University in Electrical Engineering, focusing on machine learning, optimization, and signal processing. I previously got my undergraduate in Computer Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I’m originally from Seattle and I love the outdoors.

Interests

My current interests in machine learning include multimodal models, linear attention mechanisms, DL frameworks, and inference optimization.

I’m also passionate about software engineering, with interests including web development, open-source software, API design, and making software feel like “magic”.

I have a soft spot for data compression, including both the theoretical aspects and practical implementations. I find it fascinating how much information can be packed into a small space, and I enjoy exploring different algorithms and techniques for achieving efficient compression across different domains.

Work

In the summer of 2025, I was a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon Web Services, where I built a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with multimodal support and integrated it into agentic AI workflows.

I worked as a Student Lead at the Service Desk at Cal Poly Information Technology Services for three years during my undergrad.

In the summer of 2022, I was a Software Engineering and Data Science Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, working with the Artificial Intelligence, Analytics & Innovative Development division.

Skills

A whole bunch of stuff, including-but-not-limited-to: Python, Rust, C, PyTorch, SQL, HTML/CSS, Next.js, and Docker. At the end of the day, I am an enthusiastic learner and I love to learn about and try new things.
